The IBS course is a 2 year modular programme designed for the individual involved in regular Church attendance and wishing to serve the Lord in a wider and more effective way.
The course is offered on the second Saturday of each month, from October to June and is supplemented by a guided home study curriculum requiring approximately one hour per week per course [4 courses per term]. Each teaching day is comprised of 6 lectures with allotted breaks and lunch together downstairs in the Carrubbers Café. Teaching will be approached using the open learning method, leaving students to study and prepare material with the guidance of take-home notes and questions. Reading, research and written assignments will enhance and reinforce materials taught in class.
Tuition costs are £150 per year, which covers notes, handouts, refreshments and fees. Books and lunches are purchased separately. Although students are encouraged to enrol for the entire programme, courses may be taken individually and selected for either credit or audit.
